New habari playground

I’ve been interested in habari for a sometime now, and finally decided to setup a blog to play with it. For the uninitiated, habari is a blogging platform, much like wordpress, that you can deploy on your domain. WordPress is great, but there is no harm in trying out something better! Thanks to Michael Heilemann , who was a developer behind wordpress, and how is currently on the habari team.

Installing  was a piece of cake, easier than wordpress in my opinion. What i really love about habari is its simple, lightweight, and very extensible. The admin interface is uncluttered, almost as if there is nothing to do. And as always there are plenty of themes and plugins available.

The blog is at iambot.net and hopefully, will see some new input once my semester is over.
