The Screwup called Indian Cricket

Posted on February 1, 2008. Filed under: Cricket, Sports |

Or is it our 20-2o captain Dhoni? I still don’t understand how he had the guts to call the match a practice match, then suffer a humiliating defeat, and blatantly blame the  batsmen for that. Boy is he arrogant! I wish he had the maturity to talk like the captain of a nation’s cricket team. God! I just wish the Indian team performs as a professional unit for at least a year’s time. Till then, don’t waste your words in praising them. Cause the just flatter to deceive. Over and over again.

Our need generation of cricketers is too brash. They earn a lot even before they produce a few good results and then start acting all funny. Case in point Sreesanth. That boy is a national shame.

Like the IT and BPO crowd that starts earning on day one and doesn’t know how to behave with the new found wealth.

Hopefully they will mature and act with more dignity.
